From Forest to Floor: Crafting Excellence Under One Roof

At Monte Grappa, every floorboard begins its journey under the watchful eye of seasoned craftsmen with over 20 years of experience. From sawmill to surface, our entire manufacturing process happens under one roof, ensuring consistency, precision, and a premium finish that sets us apart in the Australian market.

This vertical integration empowers designers and architects to personalise every detail, including staircases, feature walls, and other bespoke elements for high-spec projects.

Additionally, this flexibility allows architects and interior designers to tailor each product to their specific design vision, including bespoke elements for stairs, feature walls, and other premium applications.

Our Sawmill: Rooted in Nature, Driven by Craft

Nestled in a natural setting, our sawmill houses two specialised workshops and a team of over 30 dedicated professionals — seasoned artisans who mentor the next generation of timber specialists.

We source logs from sustainably managed European forests, selecting only the finest oak right at the origin. This meticulous approach ensures a constant supply of premium-grade timber, allowing us to meet project deadlines without compromise.

  • Our Kiln: Slow-Cured Stability

After natural air-drying for up to six months, our oak enters the kiln, where slow, low-temperature treatment enhances its structural integrity. This deliberate process results in flooring that’s stable, resilient, and built to endure Australian conditions.
